Forno Cultura – Designing for the new normal
I was running solo when I took this project. All that you see here were from discovery all the way to implementation are my work.
Role: UX Designer
Timeline: 3 months
Responsibilities: UX Research, UI design, Stakeholder Management
Product design
Mobile App
UI Development

The Problem
Affected by covid restrictions and lockdowns, Forno Cultura needed to connect to their customers where they were, the internet.
Business Objective
Forno Cultura believes that being in control of their bread production from running its own stores to delivering its own products is the only way to ensure quality of its services. Its business model wouldn’t work on apps like uber eats were it employees individuals to deliver goods to its customers. Forno Cultura’s service is what would set it apart from it’s competitors. The service guarantee alongside a native application to accompany its services is what the stakeholders thought of.
1. Provide an easy and convenient ordering experience
2. Improve customer's access on Forno Cultura's products
3. Reinforce the bakeshop's brand identity online
User Research & Competitive Analysis
I conducted a variety of user research methods to gather insights and inform the design of these features.

Early sketches and Lo-fi mock-ups
I began sketching out wireframes using a pen and paper to have an idea of what the first few screens of the application will look like. This will then be translated to low-fidelity wireframes and lastly to high-fidelity mock-ups as I iterate the designs based on usertesting.
